What we check before a brand joins Skin & Hue: formula clarity, honest claims, and how it sits beside the rest of the roster.

Skin & Hue is an editorial shop, not a warehouse. Every brand that reaches the storefront has already been asked a set of quiet questions about craft, clarity, and fit.
We look for honest claims, readable ingredient stories, and textures that earn their place in a daily ritual. Spectacle without substance does not make the cut.
For the houses we carry today, starting with Code of Harmony, that means peer-reviewed botanicals, skin-identicals, and clean bio-tech approaches that stay usable for sensitive or complicated skin.
We curate for complementarity, not competition. A cleanser, treatment, and moisturizer from different makers should still feel like one coherent ritual on the face.
If a brand only works in isolation, or crowds out everything else, it does not belong in a multi-brand edit.
Different makers, shared standards: consistent product cards, unified checkout, and guidance (including Match) that helps you choose across brands without overwhelm.
If it does not earn a place beside the rest of the edit, it does not ship.
